Mapei — ACE Hardware

The project involved redesigning Mapei's retail display within ACE Hardware to make the brand and its products more informative, visually engaging and easier for customers to understand. I worked alongside one of Mapei's architects to redesign the display area, develop the supporting graphics and create a more cohesive customer-facing experience. I later worked with the team on social media content to support the brand's digital presence.

Retail Display & Customer Experience

• Worked alongside a Mapei architect to redesign the existing display area within ACE Hardware.
• Contributed to the layout and visual direction of the space, focusing on making the display more attractive and informative for customers.
• Considered how the products, information and physical environment worked together to create a clearer retail experience.
• Collaborated on the overall design of the area to ensure the display communicated the Mapei offering effectively.

Graphic Design & Print Development

• Designed the printed graphics and supporting visual communication for the display.
• Developed the layouts and information used within the display to help customers better understand the products.
• Worked with the architect to ensure the prints integrated seamlessly with the physical design of the display area.

Social Media Content

• Subsequently worked with Mapei on a short-term social media content project.
• Developed content to support the brand's digital presence and complement the communication established through the retail display.

The result was a more informative and engaging retail display that brought together spatial design, product communication and visual branding to create a stronger customer experience within the ACE Hardware environment.
